Kendal Futures held a second Kendal Vision Progress Update event in Kendal Town Hall on Wednesday 17th January 2024.

The update included an opportunity to find out more about the town centre regeneration projects which were recently awarded £13.5m from the Government’s Levelling Up Fund and how the newly completed Stramongate public space improvement scheme will influence the designs.

Kendal Futures also revealed the findings of a specialist movement study, Better Balanced Streets, which offers ideas to reimagine Kendal’s road network and make the streets attractive public spaces for everyone – people, cyclists and vehicles – in the long term.   You can find out more and download the Better Balanced Streets feasibility study here.
